The race sells duckys through Kawana's of \the Narrow Gauge and profits several non-profits in the Four Corner Region. Cross Bar X is one of them!
The race was a huge success this year! Some of the new improvements were; changing up the location... we had it at the Durango Discovery Museum (for children) where hundereds of families met up to have fun and view the race. The day of the race alone, we sold over 100 ducks ($1000)! We also got out on the street in Duck Race tees, making balloon animals, and a few of our dedicated male staffers put on a huge duck suit in the heat and sold many ticket the days prior to the race!
The final numbers are not yet in, but we have hope that through this fundraiser many more children will get to come to camp and experience the hope that our God has stored up for them!
